Introduction
Welcome to the website of Find Community, Inc., dba Stan. Stan is a platform for content creators to monetize their digital goods, content, and services, and allows customers to purchase creator content using the Stan platform, including the Site, Stanley, Stanley Instagram, and the Stan App.
This Privacy Policy explains the personal information collected from creators and customers through the Site, mobile application, Stan App, and Service, how that information is used and shared, and the choices and rights available concerning these information practices.
Find Community, Inc. is the controller of personal information in accordance with data protection laws of the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom. Questions or comments can be sent to friends@stanwith.me.
1. Personal Information We Collect
Account and profile information may include name, email address, phone number, address, profile photo, username, password, and the content of communications.
Financial information needed to process payments is collected by Stripe, Inc. and is also handled according to Stripe’s services agreement and privacy policy.
Communication information may be collected when users contact Stan with questions or concerns, or when users voluntarily respond to questionnaires, surveys, or market research requests.
Commercial information may include a history of creator content users browse, make available, or purchase through the Service.
Demographic information may include age and gender.
Social media information may be collected when users interact with Stan’s social media pages, including contact details, profile photos, friend lists, posts, reels, stories, and aggregate analytics provided by the social media platforms.
Instagram data and content may be accessed when users connect Instagram to Stanley Instagram. This can include content data, profile data, and usage data.
LinkedIn data and content may be accessed when users connect LinkedIn to Stanley. This can include content data, profile data, and usage data.
Internet activity information may include log information, cookies information, device information, usage information, location information, and email open or click information.
2. How Personal Information Is Used
Personal information may be used to provide, operate, maintain, and secure the Service, provide support and troubleshooting, and send administrative updates about terms or policies.
Information may be used to improve, monitor, personalize, and protect the Service, including protecting security and preventing fraud, criminal activity, or malicious activity.
Stanley and Stanley Instagram may use artificial intelligence to help users generate and improve content. Submitted text, content, or prompts may be processed through third-party AI providers. Content is used to generate outputs and improve Stanley and Stanley Instagram services, and is not used to train general AI models.
Personal information may be used for research and development, including creating aggregated, de-identified, or anonymized data to analyze and improve services and promote the business.
Information may be used to comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful requests, protect rights and safety, audit compliance, enforce terms, and prevent or investigate fraudulent or harmful activity.
Information may be used for marketing, including direct marketing and interest-based advertising. Users may opt out of marketing communications.
Information may be used to facilitate corporate acquisitions, mergers, financing, bankruptcy transactions, or other business transactions.
3. Sharing and Disclosure of Personal Information
Personal information may be shared with vendors and service providers that support business operations, including hosting, cloud services, IT services, event management, email communications, advertising and marketing, payment processing, customer support, and analytics.
When users use Stanley or Stanley Instagram, information may be processed by third-party AI providers who are contractually bound to use the data only to provide the requested service and not to train their models.
Information may be shared with professional advisors such as lawyers, accountants, and auditors when necessary.
Information may be shared or transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, financing due diligence, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or transition of service.
Information may be disclosed when required by law or when necessary to comply with legal obligations, protect rights or property, prevent fraud, protect personal safety, or protect against legal liability.
Aggregated or statistical information may be shared with prospective business partners or third parties for research, development, promotion, or describing service usage.
4. Personal Information Made Available to Others
Certain information provided by customers using the Services may be made available to creators. When customers purchase from a creator’s page, communicate with a creator, or express interest in creator content, that creator may receive the information provided, including personal information.
Creators and other downstream recipients may use personal information according to their own separate privacy policies. Users should review creator policies before providing personal information in connection with a purchase.
5. Your Rights
Depending on location and applicable law, users may have rights to access personal information, correct inaccurate or incomplete data, request deletion, restrict handling, receive data in a structured machine-readable format, or have data transmitted to another company.
Users may have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for interest-based advertising, opt out of certain profiling, object to how personal information is used, and withdraw consent.

Stan may need to verify identity before responding to rights requests. In some regions, users may use an authorized agent. Rights are provided free from discrimination, although legal reasons may allow refusal of a request.
Users may opt out of marketing-related communications using unsubscribe instructions in marketing messages. Non-marketing administrative communications may still be sent.
Users can limit online tracking by blocking cookies, using privacy-focused browsers or browser plug-ins, and using tools such as the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Stan does not respond to Do Not Track signals.
6. Children
The Service is not directed to children under the age of 16. Stan does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If a child under 16 has provided personal information, users should contact Stan so the information can be deleted from its databases.
7. Links to Other Websites
The Service may contain links to websites not operated or controlled by Stan, including social media services. Information shared with third-party sites is governed by those sites’ own privacy policies and terms, not this Privacy Policy.
8. Security
Users use the Service at their own risk. Stan uses commercially reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational measures to protect personal information online and offline from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
No internet or email transmission is fully secure or error-free, and users should take care when sending personal information through the Service or by email.
9. International Users
Stan is based in the United States, and personal information will be stored there. Information may also be shared with third parties based in the United States.
For users outside the United States, the United States may not provide the same protections as the laws where the user is based. Stan says it will ensure relevant safeguards are in place for applicable international transfers.
10. Changes to the Privacy Policy
Stan may change the Privacy Policy at any time. When changes are made, an updated version will be posted unless another type of notice is required by law. Continued use of the Service or provision of personal information after an updated policy is posted means consent to the revised policy and practices.
